What to expect:

• A short hike up Volcán de Agua to see the coffee fields and views!
• You’ll be invited into the farmer's house to learn about and utilize the machinery used to process coffee. 
• To finish off you’ll roast your own coffee in the traditional way, over a fire, and share a cup of coffee with the farmer and his family!

More Info:

• Tours are available 7 days a week, mornings (9am-1pm), afternoons (1pm-5pm).
• The tour departs from Plaza de San Miguel Escobar - 10 minutes by taxi or tuk tuk from La Antigua (very easy to get here!). 
• “De La Gente” is an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) that provides opportunities for local tourism by promoting cultural experiences between visitors and people in the community. This type of tourism supports farm workers, through providing additional revenue to help support their families.
