What to expect:

• Visit a cooperative and textile factory
• Learn about the different products of an authentic Guatemalan market

Itinerary:

• 8:30 am - Pick up at your hotel in Panajachel head towards the bus station to hop in a chicken bus!  
• 9:00 am -  Arrival at the central park of Solola, with a short walk to the local market.
• 9:30 am -  Arrival to the market where the tour guide will teach you about the various indigenous populations and their culture. Guide will also teach you about  how they make typical Guatemalan outfits, as well as Guatemalan foods, and about the traditional festivities.
• 10:00am – Visit of the Museum of Sololá and Cooperativa Jaspeado where textile are made.
• 10:30 am - Head back to central park and visit the local church as well as the Catholic church.
• 11:00 am - Hop back on the chicken bus to Panajachel
