El Cabo de la Vela offers one of the best beaches in the Guajira for practicing and learning this exciting water sport. With an experience of over 15 years in the world of kiting, our school has a team of instructors with extensive experience in the practice and teaching of the sport. We also have a beach area demarcated and signposted for safe practice. We work with the best kite brands, like Cabrinha and North Kiteboarding.

In El Cabo de la Vela we have  offshore wind. Because of our wind conditions we offer personalized lessons with high security standards. 

Equipment + Instructor:

• Theory (wind theory, how to arm your equipment) + safety instructions
• Control of the kite with one and both hands
• Walking with the kite
• Body drag
• Board drag
• Waterstart on the beach and in the water (theory and practice)
• Body position on the board
• Going upwind

Depending on your kiteboarding level, we offer beginner, advanced and freestyle lessons.
